Kegna Beverages Share Company is a rising player in Ethiopia’s fast-growing beverage industry. Officially endorsed by the Oromia Regional State on March 4, 2017, the company aims to become a leading beverage manufacturer in Ethiopia and beyond by 2040. Kegna Beverages has undergone rigorous legal, technical, and financial groundwork and is now in the process of entering full-scale operations.
We are looking for a Junior Quality Analyst who will be responsible for supporting the Quality Assurance team in ensuring our raw materials, processes, and final products meet the highest standards.
Job Specification:
Educational Qualification:

MSc or BSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Work Experience:
-
0 years of relevant experience (Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
Key Responsibilities:
-
Conduct physicochemical tests on raw materials, in-process samples (e.g., wort, fermentation, maturation), and finished products.
-
Monitor critical control points during brewing, fermentation, filtration, and packaging stages.
-
Perform sensory evaluations as per the company’s sensory sampling plans.
-
Verify packaging quality including fill levels, labeling, and seal integrity.
-
Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment according to company procedures.
-
Maintain lab cleanliness and organization in accordance with 5S standards.
-
Ensure proper asset and stock management within the lab.
-
Accurately document test results in the laboratory management system.
-
Promptly report non-compliances and escalate issues when required.

Prepare and submit quality summaries and reports to the Quality Team Leader.

Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and regulatory frameworks such as HACCP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

Quarantine and report non-compliant products for further management decisions.

Collaborate with other departments to identify and address quality improvements.

Support quality training for production staff.

Participate in internal audits and team meetings.

Document and monitor non-conformances and corrective actions.
Skills Required:

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Innovative and capable of handling multiple high-priority assignments

Strong interpersonal and communication skills across different organizational levels

Awareness of FSMS, QMS, EMS, and OHSMS compliance standards
