1. Job Specification

Purpose of the Job

The Amhara Bank Customer Service Executive-II Vacancy aims to recruit a dedicated professional who enhances customer satisfaction by managing front-line customer service activities with efficiency. The role also contributes to resource mobilization by cross-selling the Bank’s products and services.

2. Generic Functions

• Strengthen customer relationships and promote the bank’s positive image.
• Submit timely, accurate, and complete performance reports.
• Deliver services according to the service-level agreement.
• Contribute to the bank’s profitability as per set targets.
• Promote teamwork, collaboration, and transparency.
• Adhere to internal control systems and the Bank’s risk management program.

3. Specific Functions

• Recruit customers and perform account opening activities.
• Administer the primary vault jointly with the Branch Manager or Operations Manager.
• Receive, verify, lodge, and withdraw cash to/from the vaults.
• Dispatch or receive cash consignments from/to the Treasury.
• Verify daily cash receipts and ensure proper documentation.
• Retrieve and verify customer signatures and pictures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

4. Job Requirements

Qualification

• BA in:
  • Banking & Finance
  • Accounting
  • Business Administration
  • Economics
  • Management
  • Or related fields

Experience

• Minimum 1 year in banking operations as:
  • Customer Service Officer
  • Trainee Banker
  • Or similar role
