1. Associate Human Rights Officer (Re-advertised)
Job Overview
The Associate Human Rights Officer will assist in planning, delivering, and monitoring human rights education activities. This position contributes to curriculum development, data collection, and research initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and needs assessments.
- Develop and update human rights education manuals.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and awareness events.
- Deliver training sessions using approved materials.
- Track progress and evaluate the impact of training programs.
- Participate in team discussions and reporting activities.
Qualifications
- Education: LLB/LLM in Law, Human Rights Law, or International Law.
- Experience: 0 years (LLM) or 2 years (LLB) / 6–12 months internship.
- Language: Amharic and English (required). Other languages are a plus.
- Skills: Computer literacy, research, data analysis, and teamwork.
Location: Semera & Jigjiga City Offices
Salary: ETB 17,750 – 20,567 (gross) + ETB 8,640 housing + ETB 3,300 transport

2. Program Assistant
Job Overview
The Program Assistant supports administrative coordination, event planning, and logistics for EHRC programs.
Qualifications
- Education: BA Degree or Level 4 Diploma in Management, Administration, or related fields.
- Experience: 2 years (BA) or 4 years (Diploma).
- Skills: Event coordination, travel and logistics management, computer literacy.
- Language: Amharic required; others an advantage.
Location: Addis Ababa
Salary: ETB 9,667 – 10,806 + allowances
Contract Type: Open/Indefinite
3. Human Rights Resource Center Officer
Job Overview
The Resource Center Officer ensures proper cataloging, knowledge management, and digital access to EHRC’s information resources.
Qualifications
- Education: BA/MA in Library Science, Information Science, or Knowledge Management.
- Experience: 4 years (BA) or 2 years (MA).
- Skills: Library systems, digital resources, research, and organization.
- Language: Amharic required; others an advantage.
Location: Addis Ababa
Salary: ETB 20,400 – 23,683 + allowances
Contract Type: One-year (renewable)
4. Human Rights Officer – Needs Assessment and Evaluation
Job Overview
The officer evaluates program performance through detailed research and data-driven analysis.
Qualifications
- Education: LLB/LLM in Law or related fields.
- Experience: 4 years (LLB) or 2 years (LLM).
- Skills: Program evaluation, data analysis, report writing.
- Language: Amharic required.
Location: Addis Ababa

Job Overview
Responsible for developing, designing, and producing high-quality human rights education materials and training modules.

- Skills: Curriculum design, material production, writing, computer literacy.
- Language: Amharic required; other languages are a plus.
