RC Construction PLC, a well-established and fast-growing construction company, is looking for a skilled and experienced Finance Officer to join its finance department. The ideal candidate will have strong financial management skills and a solid background in accounting and budgeting.

Job Summary:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Manage accounts payable and receivable.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

Ensure compliance with Ethiopian tax laws and financial regulations.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

Provide financial insights to support company decision-making.

Monitor cash flow and oversee bank reconciliations.
Job Requirements:

Educational Background: BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.

Preference: Prior experience working in a construction company is highly preferred.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications.
