Role Summary
The successful candidate will manage all plant-level financial transactions. In this role, you will oversee petty cash, utility payments, and internal record-keeping. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth financial operations at the facility level. You will report administratively to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Head Office Finance Director.
Key Qualifications & Experience
To be considered for this Accountant vacancy in Gelan, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education: We Require BA Degree in Accounting or Finance is mandatory.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Proficiency in Ethiopian tax regulations (VAT, withholding tax, and payroll tax) is required to ensure full compliance.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Industry Background: Previous experience managing payroll and cash within an industrial or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
