Job Requirements and Qualifications

To qualify for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields.

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in finance and administration.

• Specific Experience: Prior work experience within financial institutions, corporate organizations, or consulting firms is highly preferred.

• Professional Certifications: Progress toward ACCA, CPA, or related qualifications is a strong added advantage.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will handle daily financial and operational workflows, including:

• Maintain highly accurate financial and administrative records.

• Prepare journal entries, routine financial reports, and monthly bank reconciliations.

• Assist the management team in budget preparation and expenditure tracking.

• Support tax filing, declaration, and strict compliance activities with Ethiopian tax laws.

• Coordinate internal office administration, logistics, and procurement processes.

• Maintain proper, organized physical and digital filing systems.

• Support both internal and external audit procedures.

• Coordinate with banks, external vendors, and government offices when required.

Core Skills Required

• Sound knowledge of basic accounting principles and Ethiopian tax regulations.
