Position Title: Resource Mobilization and Partnership Manager

ToggleKey Responsibilities:
The Resource Mobilization and Partnership Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Identify and engage with potential funding sources including government agencies, NGOs, foundations, and the private sector
-
Develop and implement a comprehensive resource mobilization strategy and action plan
-
Prepare high-quality funding proposals and project budgets
-
Maintain and build productive partnerships with stakeholders and donors
-
Monitor and evaluate progress on resource mobilization initiatives
-
Manage project budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals
-
Lead the design and implementation of resource mobilization performance tracking systems
-
Document best practices, case studies, project updates, and share with relevant stakeholders including WDA’s Head Office and Board Members
-
Coordinate project design, data collection, analysis, and reporting activities
-
Identify and assess risks related to resource mobilization and project execution
-
Support WDA senior representatives in stakeholder engagement and donor relationship management
-
Lead M&E in development financing and identify opportunities for results-based funding
-
Organize and coordinate multisectoral coordination and reporting activities
Qualifications and Experience:
-
Education: Second degree or PhD in Business Management, Management, Business Administration, Business Development, Marketing, Economics, Project Management, Development Studies, Rural Development, Health, or Nutrition

Experience:
-
Minimum of 6 years relevant work experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
-
PhD holders require no prior experience
-
Strong experience in proposal development, research, and donor communications
-
Experience in NGOs and usage of software like SPSS, STATA, or similar tools
-
Skilled in both qualitative and quantitative research and web-based management systems
-
Required Skills:

Fluency in written and spoken English
-
Strong ethical standards and work discipline
-
Demonstrated commitment to WDA’s goals
-
Excellent communication and presentation skills
-
Proven ability to build partnerships and manage complex stakeholder relationships
