RC Construction PLC, a trusted name in Ethiopia’s construction sector, is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to join our team for a project located in Jimma. We are looking for a committed professional with strong technical and site management capabilities.

Job Summary:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day construction activities on site, with a focus on quality, safety, and timely project delivery. The position requires expertise in structural and finishing works, along with strong technical and coordination skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and monitor daily construction site activities.

Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Coordinate with subcontractors, laborers, and site workers.
-
Ensure materials and resources are used efficiently and effectively.

Monitor project progress and prepare regular site reports.

Manage site safety, labor distribution, and adherence to timelines.

Provide technical support and resolve on-site issues as they arise.

Ensure proper execution of finishing works (plastering, painting, tiling, etc.).
Job Requirements:

Educational Background: BSc in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in construction site supervision.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in MS Project for scheduling and progress tracking.

AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory for reading and interpreting construction drawings.

Other Requirements:

Proven experience in finishing works is essential.

Ability to manage teams and work under pressure in a remote site location.

Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
